BAHS would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who volunteered, traded at or attended Bakewell Christmas Sparkle 2022 at the end of November, making the event another great success.
It was a lively, festive atmosphere with plenty to see and do - all set to a seasonal soundtrack courtesy of Ashover Band and Peak Performance Choir.
Many thanks also to all those who donated bottles to our bottle stall, which was so popular it had sold out by lunchtime, helping to raise funds for our training grants scheme.
The children’s craft room was a great attraction and the animals in the ring were hugely popular too - our thanks to Lane End Farm Trust for bringing this brilliant new hands-on element to Bakewell Christmas Sparkle.
Thanks to Bakewell Rotary Santa did great work, and our toasty heated tipi from the brilliant Tipis in the Peak was another huge new draw.
Market stalls and food vendors all reported good trade with a very varied selection of goods to purchase or consume on site.
We are proud to say that the majority of what was on offer came from the local area as our main aim was, as always, to showcase all that is good around us here in this beautiful spot. We look forward to welcoming you back to Bakewell Christmas Sparkle 2023 on Sunday 26th November.
